JLD has its own manufacturing plant and R&D center in Vasai in North Mumbai. The 15,000 sqft facility is equipped with the latest equipment and machinery and houses over 25 technicians and professional engineers.
The Company currently produces a range of products including Gas Masks and Filter Canisters, Breathing Air Systems, Testing Equipment for Respiratory Protection and Portable and Fixed Gas Detection Equipment, and is expanding its product portfolio. Through its past collaborations with international business partners, the Company has adopted international industrial engineering production practices. To ensure that it produces the
most effective and reliable products, the Company undertakes quality checks and maintains controls at each stage of the manufacturing process.
To maintain its position at the forefront of safety equipment innovation in India, JLD runs a state-of-the-art R&D center that is recognized by the Indian Ministry of Science & Technology. The Company's has comprehensive Testing Facilities and is arguably among the best in the country for the testing of Respiratory Protection equipment. The Company is currently undertaking the design and manufacture of world class, affordable Portable and Fixed Detectors for hydrocarbons, oxygen and toxic gases.
